California daize
For our Spring/Summer capsule collection for Leeds Fashion Show 2011 we want to go for an sophisticated californian summer look, check out some of our inspiration.
Water
A bath tub holds 151L of water, someone in a slum only get 30L of water for all their daily needs.
Water preservation is something we at daize feel strongly about and the imagery of water is something we find very inspirational and want to use to inspire our fashion designs and prints.
Leeds Fashion Show Brief
This October we are taking part in Leeds Fashion Show displaying our Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
This is the brief.
Bio
Daize is a fashion brand set up by two young British fashion designers currently based in Leeds. We have a strong sustainable ethos and are strong believers that less is more. The brand focuses on simple yet striking clothing that can be worn again and again. We believe in equality and looking after our planet so therefore we use organic and fair-trade fabrics. For Spring/Summer 2012 we are focusing on light fabrics and pastel shades with a burst of colour in relation to a Californian summer.
